{"id":258,"date":"2023-10-19T14:00:49","date_gmt":"2023-10-19T14:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/seismik.lu\/?p=258"},"modified":"2023-10-24T13:56:06","modified_gmt":"2023-10-24T13:56:06","slug":"three-exploratory-boreholes-at-dudelange-budersberg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seismik.lu\/en\/three-exploratory-boreholes-at-dudelange-budersberg\/","title":{"rendered":"Three exploratory boreholes in Kayl and in Dudelange-Budersberg"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In the week of the 16th October, three exploratory boreholes with seismic measurements are drilled to test the properties of the near-surface geological layers (loose sediments).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To perform these seismic measurements, a weight is dropped on the surface to create vibrations, which are recorded using geophones installed at varying depths in the boreholes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These boreholes were located near the &#8220;Kayler Poteau&#8221;, close to the N3, and at the foot of Mont St. Jean in Dudelange-Budersberg.
